A FLIRT in Poland

In 2014, Stadler delivered 20 two-part Flirt 3 to Poland for the regional transport system of Łódź.

APS electronic AG supported the ambitious and innovative project with the development and production of advanced auxiliary power converter technology of the Type WWS-O 3x400-3x400-15 kVA.

By the way, the creative name FLIRT stands for "Fast Light Innovative Regional Train". This nippy little Stadler train can reach a top speed of 160 km/h – ideal for a quick round of flirting in Poland.
